A Look Back !
Storyteller Kitty Wilson Evans, an award-winning costumed interpreter from Historic Brattonsville, brought history to life as Kessie, a plantation slave in the deep South, during a recent visit to Cheraw.
Sponsored by the On Stage Theatre Group, the educator and storyteller presented various aspects of life in the 18th century to students from Long Middle School, Cheraw Intermediate and Faith Christian Academy.
Evans also shared old-time stories, songs and games during her three entertaining performances.
